Yes. We utilize SSL & HTTPS throughout the checkout process to ensure that a customer's personal information is always encrypted and secure. Viewing order details from within your WebStore is also done through an encrypted SSL link. Additionally, credit card information that may be stored in the WebStore is also kept encrypted on our servers. |

How do I setup my WebStore to accept credit card payments online?
A Merchant Account is a required to accept credit card payments online. Therefore, the first step is to obtain a merchant account. If you don't already have one, you can Establish a New Merchant Account. If you do have an existing merchant account, you can have it configured to work with your SiteBuilder WebStore. Online credit card transactions also require the use of a payment processing gateway. Check with your merchant account provider to see which gateways they support. |

Must I have a merchant account and payment gateway to setup my WebStore?
No. Our WebStores can be used with a wide variety of payment methods such as PayPal. You can also setup a WebStore to take orders and then bill your customers with a printed invoice from our system. Either way, each WebStore is fully equipped to process orders and to collect payments for all your products. |
