At this phase we evaluate any currently hosted WebSites, domain names, and organizational plans to appropriate Internet resources. We also seek to determine the primary audience as well as the primary purpose and objectives for developing a WebSite along with a tentative budget range.
Next, we simply document and agree upon all that needs to transpire in order to make this project a successful and satisfying one for you.
During this phase we summarily review the content and graphics you want posted to the site. If it's an e-commerce site, we also review the array of products and services you wish to sell on the web along with your operational procedures. Then we design a draft of the site including Home and inside page layouts along with a proposed site navigation for your approval.
Simultaneously we begin to assess the most appropriate domain names, web hosting package, e-commerce solutions, e-mail addresses, and other technology requirements.
Now comes perhaps the most challenging phase of the entire project - actually collecting the content and populating the site. As the data is collected, it is converted to HTML, loaded onto the site, formatted and spell-checked, evaluated for correctness, and placed within the navigation structure.
As we approach the finish line, we complete our final drafts, privately host and evaluate the site, make any final revisions, and then publish it live. It doesn't end here, however. Even after the site is up, we continue to make any necessary corrections and modifications until WebMeisters and the Client call it done.
